Sephardic Arrangements

Three choral arrangements of Sephardic music are now available in the sheet music store! Entitled “Lavaba la Blanka Ninya,” “Esta Noche de Purim,” and “Las Kazas de la Boda,” they form the core of my dissertation work at the University of Washington. These arrangements cover different genres, geographical regions, and musical characteristics of Sephardic music, the group of Jewish people who were expelled from Spain/Portugal in 1492 and settled in the Ottoman Empire, Northern Africa, and other areas. Each arrangement comes with detailed performance notes, including source recordings, pronunciation guides, and background information.
